WCG Co-Founder Jon Iadonisi returned to Fox Business News to chat about sitting around a digital campfire. Jon had some important safety tips about citizens’ use of social networks online and how adversaries use those networks to hack your life. Tim Newberry, co-founder of White Canvas Group, appeared on CBN News on February 20 to discuss the overall increase in cyber attacks against U.S. targets. Tim mentioned that the U.S. is clearly vulnerable, citing the Mandiant Report and the recent cyber attack against Apple as evidence. He described the various types of hackers and their goals, explaining that we are seeing an increase in state-sponsored attacks against companies associated with key infrastructure, such as electricity. Tim emphasized that major meltdowns can often start with acts as simple as password theft and that we need to have more public conversations and awareness about cyber threats.
